Google Clock has separate bedtime and wake-up settings. Choosing a bedtime reminder is not the same as choosing the sound that wakes you up. Review both parts before depending on a new routine.
Choose your schedule
Open Clock and its Bedtime tab. On the Schedule card, set the bedtime time and days. Then select the time under Wake up and choose the wake-up time and repeat days. In the wake-up options, Sound selects the alarm audio and Vibrate controls vibration.

Understand sleep sounds
The Sleep sounds section is a separate feature. It lets you choose relaxing audio, including supported media apps or device sounds. Google says these sounds play when you turn them on; choosing one is not a replacement for configuring the wake-up alarm.
Test before tomorrow morning
Record your intended time and days on paper and compare them with the saved schedule. Use a temporary alarm while awake to check audibility, then remove that temporary entry. Avoid changing several unrelated settings during the same test.
If Bedtime is absent
Confirm which Clock app you opened before following this route. These instructions refer to Google Clock documentation; another manufacturer's app can use different labels. Take a note of the app name and the screen you actually see rather than guessing where a missing option moved.
