Sleek Ringtones respects intellectual-property rights and expects uploaded content to be original, licensed, public domain or otherwise authorised. We respond to complete copyright notices and may remove or restrict disputed content while a claim is reviewed.
A notice should include: identification of the copyrighted work; the exact URL of the allegedly infringing ringtone or page; your full name and reliable contact information; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature.
Send the complete notice to the email below with the subject “Copyright Removal Request”. Screenshots may help, but a searchable URL and clear identification of the protected work are essential. We may request clarification if information is incomplete.
If content you supplied was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice identifying the removed material, its former location, your contact information, a statement under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, consent to the appropriate legal jurisdiction and your signature. Counter-notices may be forwarded to the original complainant where legally required.
Submitting a knowingly false claim may have legal consequences. This process is for copyright matters; trademark, privacy or other concerns should be clearly identified in the email. We aim to acknowledge complete requests promptly, but investigation time depends on the circumstances.
